Salton Sea Beach (0738)

Though a boring picture, the main point here is to show the difference between now and a photo taken in 2007 (linked to the comments). In 2007 this area was under water, now it is dry. The sea level of the Salton Sea has always changed fairly dramatically, but new water policies mean that it is going to get much lower in the future. From expedition on Thanksgiving day, 2013.
