Rhame, ND railroad (0417)

In the very small town of Rhame, ND, a BNSF work train. Per the website for the nearby town of Marmarth, ND (see nearby pictures), the railroad was originally the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul and began operations in 1907. When I was there the tracks looked rough, but were being replaced so as to provide service to the new oil fields in North Dakota. Just up the line from this site, the same cars as pictured here were hauling lengths of rail that stretched across multiple cars.
