Reconstruction of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, from just above the Yerba Buenda Island tunnel (see adjacent photos).
The temporary detour that allowed for the removal of a section of the old bridge so that the new bridge could be fed directly into the tunnel. I personally find the complex nature of this detour process to be astounding.
