Griffith Park Old Zoo (2626)
Former LA City Zoo. This zoo closed in 1965, with the new zoo opening just a short distance away, still in Griffith Park. Much of the structure of the old zoo was built with the assistance of the WPA (Workers Progress Administration). One of the grottos accessible from the nearby picnic area.
