Interesting sign, particularly since Bishop is a fairly conservative rural town and Provincetown, MA is gay resort area and artist colony!

I once saw a similar sign in Copper Harbor, Michigan, listing the mileage along US 41 to Miami.

I've driven more of US 6 than I care to remember. That's a boring road, at least in the East. It's also the road that passes over Loveland Pass in Colorado, though, so that makes up for some things.
