Pleasant Valley, Bishop, CA 1071a

Pleasant Valley, a not so pleasant valley just north of Bishop. This is the Owens River from a pedestrian (former railroad) bridge. The bridge connects two sides of a primitive campground. Away from the river the area was very dry, the campground was really only ad hoc parking spots with long treks to chemical toilets that had not been maintained, and it appeared that locals came out to the campground to party at night. Luckily I was able to find a spot near a couple of men who were there for the fishing and were quiet.
