Rice, CA 1624a

Site of a former gas station in Rice, Ca. The first time I saw the station, about 10 years ago, there was still some semblance of a gas station. While the name 'Rice' appears on various maps, there does not appear to have ever actually been a town of any size at the site. There are, however, a rail spur and a gravel road that go from Rice south to Blythe. Rice also would have been the center of the military operations that occurred in the area during WWII (see nearby pictures).
