I see a moon arisin' One spicy thistle Very cold all week but warmer today Northern lights in southern Ohio Running away from home The dirt road up the hill to the old cemetery Black-and-white is all you get at 850nm A nice surprise The cemetery Yes, a failure Not a bad place to rest for eternity Maybe vandals, or an earthquake Coming back down the hill First picture with this lens Pine tree and undergrowth at sunset Virginia creeper on the barn Infrared tree pictures are an addiction Clouds in 850nm are especially fun Just testing the setup It can follow focus It can make pretty pictures I named the ant Wabi-sabi Back in the woods Another oddly colored slug Five-lined skink suns himself A closer look at Mr. Skink And a pseudohead on its hind end It has a "foreskin" to protect its head Wonder what the spots are for Some kind of sphinx moth caterpillar, I think Hmmm. Front legs extend beyond those claws! Who is eating whom? Soon to follow Like a tiny artichoke It blends in well, doesn't it Be glad they're not 50 feet tall Slug collectors, take notice The show begins on a patriotic note Some come for the chicken dinner . . . More curtain Bringing down the curtain As scary as it looks They didn't run over him, though No, it's not bait Not something you see every day
