Thanks. After days of carrying around the 105mm Micro-Nikkor, I walked to lunch with only the 16-85; this was the best I could get. I wish I'd had the macro lens -- could have gotten in front for a scary face-on view. If spiders would only check in with me when they plan to go for a stroll, I'd be able to make better portraits of them . . .
