Wednesday 18 October 2023 (1010) – Stagecoach East buses in St. Andrew’s Street, Cambridge.

Left: 86011 (BV23 NRY), one of the thirty MCV bodied Volvo BZL electric double deckers (86001-86030) that commenced regular service on the Cambridge Park & Ride services on Sunday 14 May. Today it was working cross city service 2 from Addenbrooke’s Hospital to Milton. From Addenbrooke’s this service takes a longer route into the City Centre via residential areas on the south-eastern side of the city/Romsey Town (including the Asda store at Coldhams Lane) through to Cambridge North railway station, Milton and Milton Park & Ride. (A trick of the light makes it appear like a partially open top sightseeing bus!)

Right: 15213 (YN15 KHK), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD new in August 2015, working cross city service 3 from Cherry Hinton to Fison Road. It carries the old Busway livery.
