First Eastern Counties Buses in Norwich - 2 Dec 2022 (P1140147)

Friday 2 December 2022 (1021) – First Eastern Counties Buses colour brands the fronts of its buses operating Norwich city services. Three different colours are seen in Castle Meadow. Unfortunately, since the bus with Turquoise branding is seen from the rear the colouring is not as visible as the others!

The Turquoise Line bus is 36184 (BN12 JYG), a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL new in June 2012 to First Games Transport - the division of the First Group that provided transport at the 2012 London Olympics.

The bus in the centre is 33150 (LR02 LXJ), a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident new to First Centrewest (TN1150) in May 2002, branded for the Orange Line services 21/22 (Norfolk & Norwich Hospital or Bowthorpe-City Centre-Old Catton).

On the right is 33003 (LK51 UZS), a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident new to First Capital (TNL1003) in September 2001, branded for the Purple Line services 36/37/38

69544 (BF12 KWD), a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE new to First Hampshire & Dorset in March 2012. It had been ‘de-branded’ of Green Line lettering and was working service 38 to Hellesdon (Ives Road) - a Purple Line service.
