Thursday 16 October 2008 (1106 hrs) - A view of Bury St Edmunds bus station seen from the upstairs window of the Library on St Andrew’s Street North.

In stand 1 is Ambassador Travel CN53 NWB (Plaxton bodied Volvo) working the 0825 Great Yarmouth to London (Victoria) National Express service 497 (which takes a break here 1045-1110).

In stand 2 is Mulleys Motorways AY55 DGE (Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes-Benz Vario) working the 1115 service 355 to Mildenhall and Lakenheath.

In stand 4 is Simonds of Botesdale WVE 284 (Plaxton body probably on Volvo chassis).

On stand 5 is Stagecoach in Cambridge (Cambus) Alexander PS bodied Volvo working the 1115 service 11 to Newmarket and Cambridge.

The nose in stands 1 to 9 are used by country services and coaches and the through stands 10 to 14 behind them (along the back wall) were used by First Eastern Counties for the town services.
