Announcing the end of the 141 by Trent Barton - Sep 2022 (P1130277)

Tuesday 13 September 2022 – After Trent Barton had announced their intention to cease operating the Nottingham-Blidworth-Mansfield to Sutton-in-Ashfield service 141, a local councillor led a campaign which ultimately resulted in Nottinghamshire County Council agreeing to support the service for one year.

From Monday 5 September 2022 the service was taken over by Stagecoach East Midlands with buses running on the same timetable as when operated by Trent Barton.

This small poster had been inserted in a timetable display at a Blidworth bus stop. The date shown for the changes is Sunday 4 December but the 141 does not run on Sundays so the change was effective from Monday 5 September.

The service requires four Mansfield based buses to run the hourly service operated six days a week.
