Ambassador Travel 888 (EAH 888Y) on the A11 between Red Lodge and Barton Mills – 12 May 1985 (17-15)
Sunday 12 May 1985 - Ambassador Travel 888 (EAH 888Y) seen descending Chalk Hill towards Barton Mills when working the 1030 London to Norwich National Express service 099.

It is one of the eight Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Leyland Tigers new to the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company in February 1983 that wore the ‘Norfolk Flyer’ livery to operate services between Norfolk and London. They passed to Ambassador Travel when ECOC was split up in September 1984.

A Duple Dominant bodied Bedford of DJ Coaches of Fordham is following.

Construction of the dual carriageway between Red Lodge and Barton Mills was underway to the right.
