Guide Friday E114 KDX in Cambridge – 18 Jan 2003 (503-16)

Saturday 18 January 2003 - Guide Friday was famous for its open top bus sightseeing tours in many tourist locations. One of them was based in Cambridge where the company also introduced a regular service linking the city centre with the railway station.

E114 KDX, an East Lancs bodied Dennis Falcon HC new to Ipswich Buses in June 1988, is seen in Emmanuel Street. It still carried the Ipswich livery which used similar colour combinations to Guide Friday so it didn’t look out of place too much.
