Monday 26 April 1999 – Universal Buses Limited R811 WJA, a UVG Urbanstar bodied Dennis Dart new in August 1997, seen in Rochdale bus station.

Universal Buses operated in the Rochdale, Oldham and Saddleworth area from a base in Chadderton (according to Volume 4 of Geoffrey G. Hilditch’s book ‘Steel Wheels and Rubber Tyres’ - GGH had a financial stake in the business with his son and others) but Smithy Bridge (and Walsden??) have been mentioned in other sources as being bases.
