Saturday 11 May 1996 – Guide Friday (Ireland) Limited operated a city sightseeing tour of Dublin although was prevented from using it’s widely recognised green livery which was the prominent colour of Dublin Bus. Consequently a gold and black livery was employed here. 74 KE 509 is unmistakably a former Nottiingham City Transport East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlantean AN68/1R which was seen outside The Gresham Hotel in O’Connell Street. I believe it was NCT’s 571 registered OTO 571M new in March 1974.
