Cambus Limited 506 (B144 GSC) and Eastern Counties VR281 (VAH 281X) in Bury St. Edmunds – 3 April 1993 (189-18)
Saturday 3 April 1993 – Risbygate Street, Bury St. Edmunds.

Cambus 506 (B144 GSC) was one of a pair of Alexander RLC bodied Leyland Olympians acquired from Eastern Scottish in 1993 that had operated on the Glasgow-Edinburgh Scottish Citylink service. They were regular performers on the X11 service operated between Cambridge and Bury St. Edmunds. 506 had operated the 1200 service from Cambridge and was seen here turning from St. Andrews Street North to Risbygate Street just after departing Bury St. Edmunds bus station as the 1255 service back to Cambridge.

Facing the camera is Eastern Counties Omnibus Company VR281 (VAH 281X), an Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR new in October 1981, working a town service more normally worked by mini-buses. The destination display reads 'Moreton Hall Circular'.
