Chambers D642 DRT at the Bures yard – 27 Sep 1995 (286-35)

Wednesday 27 September 1995 (approx. 1600) – H C Chambers and Son Limited D642 DRT, a Duple Dominant bus bodied YMT new in June 1987, seen under cover at the Bures yard. Chambers operated a few of this type each seating 63 passengers achieved by the use of a 3+2 seating layout.

Chambers had been facing competition on its old established services and signs were displayed on the buses which read ‘THIS IS YOUR REGULAR AND RELIABLE BUS SERVICE – BEWARE OF IMITATIONS’.
