Millers Coaches C844 OBG in Cambridge – June 1988 (70-21)

June 1988 – Millers Coaches of Foxton C844 OBG seen in St. Andrew’s Street, Cambridge. The building of Christ’s College is still recognisable today but the shops have been replaced by more modern retail premises.

C844 OBG is a Locomotors bodied Quest 80 which had been one of a small number (six?) of such buses new to Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive (0087) which were used on a special service for disabled passengers visiting the Liverpool Garden Festival in 1986. Although built and delivered as B932 KWM in 1984 this bus did not enter service until October 1985 with the registration C844 OBG.

Now preserved having been restored by Andrew Miller.
