Gentle’s of Ashwell BLJ 715Y near Barton Mills – 10 Feb 1991 (136-17)

Sunday 10 February 1991 (approx. 1135) – Three lady passengers are deep in conversation on board Gentle’s Coaches of Ashwell BLJ 715Y as it travelled eastbound on the A11 Barton Mills by-pass. It is a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Ford R1115 new to Excelsior of Bournemouth in April 1983.

Chalk Hill forms the backcloth and Red Lodge is over the horizon. Some snow remains here and there in the adjacent fields.
