Ambassador Travel 501 (L67 UNG) and 504 (L71 UNG) at the Airport Park and Ride terminal, Norwich – 18 Mar 1995 (255-04)
Saturday 18 March 1995 - A joint initiative involving Norfolk County Council and the City of Norwich created a number of Park and Ride schemes using green liveried buses provided by different contractors.

Ambassador Travel (Anglia) Limited operated the service to Norwich city centre from the Park and Ride site near the Airport on the northern side of the city employing seven vehicles all new in June 1994. Six of these were Alexander Dash bodied Volvo B6 -50 models numbered 501-506 (L67-69/71-73 UNG). The seventh vehicle was a Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes-Benz 811D numbered 500 (L938 ORC).

In this view at the Airport Park and Ride terminal we see 500 (the Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes-Benz 811D) on the left with 504 (L71 UNG), one of the Alexander Dash bodied Volvos, standing outside the Park and Ride terminal building.
