First Manchester 33677 (SN12 AEY) in Salford - 24 May 2019 (P1020054)

Friday 24 May 2019 (1339) – Chapel Street, Salford seen from on board First Manchester 39240 (BW65 DBY), a Wright StreetDeck bodied Volvo B5LH new in February 2016 working on Vantage service V2. On the right is a similar bus heading for Atherton.

Directly in front is 33677 (SN12 AEY), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400D that was new in June 2012 initially used by First Games Transport in connection with the 2012 Olympic Games. Also in the view is a Stagecoach Manchester Enviro400.

New buildings contrast with the old. That on the immediate left has the words ‘Salford Education Office’ engraved over the front door. I am not sure if it was disused or not.
