Cambus 250 (NEN 562R) in Cambridge - 1 Aug 1987

August 1987 – Regular city bus services no long travel down St. John’s Street in Cambridge as they did when this Cambus Leyland National 1 was photographed. The Great Gate of St. John’s College stands in the background. The bus was purchased from Greater Manchester PTE. It could be bus 250 (NEN 562R) and if so was new in February 1977 to Lancashire United Transport (475), a subsidiary of GMPTE.
