DSCF0824 Centrebus 388 (Y38 HBT) and 606 (FJ56 YBW) in Hitchin - 23 Feb 2018

Friday 23 February 2018 (1159) – Centrebus vehicles in Bancroft, Hitchin. Left is 388 (Y38 HBT), an Optare Solo M850, working the 1203 service 190 to Biggleswade and Sandy. It was new in March 2001 to, I believe, North East Somerset Community Transport for operation on the Bristol to Cheddar ‘Chew Valley Explorer’ service. Right is 606 (FJ56 YBW), a Plaxton Centro bodied VDL DE12B new in October 2006, working the 1155 service 89 to Pirton – a short working of the Meppershall and Henlow Camp service.
