USAF bus travelling through Beck Row - May 1980

May 1980 – A United States Air Force International Harvester bus seen travelling through Beck Row near RAF Mildenhall. What was the Texaco filling station is now a used car sales outlet. They were selling a gallon of ‘four star’ petrol for £1.34 which equates to 29.5 pence per litre. In October 2017 petrol was about £1.20 per litre equivalent to £5.49 per gallon.
