Eastern Coachworks factory at Lowestoft - 9 Apr 1983
Saturday 9 April 1983 – Vehicles under construction at the Eastern Coachworks factory in Lowestoft.

On the left:

Body number 25515 on a Leyland Olympian chassis became Crosville Motor Services DOG123 (MTU 123Y).

Body number 25553 and 25551 Leyland Olympian chassis became West Yorkshire Road Car 1817 (FUM 492Y) and 1815 (FUM 490Y)

On the right:

Body number 25546 on a Leyland Olympian chassis became West Yorkshire Road Car 1810 (FUM 485Y)

Body number 25401 on a Bristol VR chassis which was South Wales Transport 959 (WTH 959T). The chassis had been new in March 1979 with body number 23259. In December 1981 that body was burnt out whilst the bus was in service (on service X1 at Bridgend on 12 December 1981 I have read).

Body number 25609 on a Leyland Olympian chassis became East Midland Motor Services 312 (UDT 312Y).
