DSCF7899 Arriva and Stagecoach buses in Liverpool - 16 Jun 2017

Friday 16 June 2017 (1206) – The Port of Liverpool Building forms the backcloth to this view. The buses are parked in Mann Island and include three Arriva Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs [4801 (BT66 MTF) and 4841 (BW66 GZH) facing the camera and 4805 (BT66 MTU) facing away] and Stagecoach in Merseyside (Glenvale) 10549 (SN16 ONR), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 MMC. Note that buses of both companies have destination displays for service 14 to Willow Way (Croxteth). The service, which runs every 3 or 4 minutes, is a Merseytravel Quality Bus Network service and features shared operation each trip alternating between the two companies. 4805 was however working a different service, service 18 which is an Arriva only route.
