Thursday 15 June 2017 (1735) – The Runcorn Busway is a network of (unguided) bus only roadways opened in the early 1970s when Runcorn New Town was created. The two main operators using the busway are
Halton Borough Transport and Arriva plus a service operated by Widnes based Ashcroft Travel under contract to Halton Borough Council. In this view taken from the end of the platform at Halton Lea South (Runcorn Shopping Centre) we see Halton 43 (PG03 YYZ), an East Lancs Myllennium bodied Dennis Dart new in August 2003. In the distance is Ashcroft Travel W869 YNB.
