DSCF6322 National Express BV66 WPJ and Airport Bus Express BX65 WBF in Victoria Coach Station, London - 11 Mar 2017
Saturday 11 March 2017 (1015) – Victoria Coach Station, London opened on 10 March 1932. This photo shows the coach entrance facing out to Semley Place. Waiting for instructions to move onto a loading stand is National Express CD01 (BV66 WPJ), one of the six Caetano Boa Vista bodied Scania K410UD6 double deck coaches new in September 2016 to operate the London-Luton Airport service A1. CD01 is named ‘Paul’. On the right is Airport Bus Express BX65 WBF, a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K440, which was loading for its service A20 to Stansted Airport. I suspect it would normally have loaded in one of the bays (1-4) being occupied by the preserved coaches taking part in the 85th anniversary event.
