DSCN0152 HCT Group BT1 (YX10 AYD) - 3 Apr 2013

DSCN0152 HCT Group BT1 (YX10 AYD) - 3 Apr 2013
Wednesday 3 April 2013 (1057) – It is quite rare for a bus route in Greater London not to be controlled by Transport for London but service 812, which operates under a special London service permit, is subsidised by Islington Borough Council rather than TfL. The buses used on the route sport a yellow livery rather than the usual London red and the fare structure is totally separate from that of TfL - TfL travelcards, passes and Oyster cards are not accepted. The service operates every 20 minutes between 0930 and 1639 and requires three vehicles and is operated by HCT Group. BT1 (YX10 AYD), a Volkswagen with Bluebird Tucana bodywork built in Scarborough, was seen in Fortune Street as it set down the gentleman with a shopping trolley walking away on the right.
