Tuesday 2 April 2013 (1414) – First London WSH62994 (LK60 HPL), a Wright bodied VDL SB200 hydrogen powered bus new in February 2011, seen in Catherine Street near Covent Garden working London Buses contracted service RV1. Parked cars ahead of it and a coach setting down outside the Theatre Royal Drury Lane prevented the bus continuing to its terminus in nearby Russell Street so the driver gave everyone the chance to get off the bus here rather than just sit waiting. We had travelled on this bus from the London Eye. Note the green warning label at lower right ‘H2 GAS’.
