254/03 Premier Travel Services JVE 373P at Ely - Sat 10 August 1985 (Ref 25-02)

Saturday 10 August 1985 - Premier Travel Services 254 (JVE 373P), a Plaxton Panorama Elite bodied AEC Reliance, seen in the cathedral city of Ely, Cambridgeshire. It was working a private hire carrying the Choir of the Peninsula Covenant Church from Alameda, California, USA who were staying at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. After completing this hire at 1550 I went on to work the Huntingdon-Bedford feeder service carrying passengers from the Cromer-Northampton service worked jointly with Yorks Coaches which Premier numbered service 40. Departure time was supposed to be 1855 but the Yorks coach arrived earlier at 1840. (Ref 25-02)
