DSCF4846 H C Chambers (Go Ahead) W956 WGH

Friday 25 April 2014 (1050) - Following the acquisition of H C Chambers and Son Limited by the Go-Ahead Group, Chambers was put under the management control of Hedingham Omnibuses and a new fleet numbering system was introduced for the combined fleets. A number of Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL double deckers were cascaded from the Go-Ahead fleets in London which introduced a new livery style. Bus 581 (W956 WGH) carries the new company address in Stanway, Colchester. This bus was new in May 2000 as London General PVL56.
