La "Presviata Pokrova" de 22 m de long est une parfaite réplique d'un mélange entre drakkar et galère cosaque ukrainienne du 16e siècle. Appelé tchaïka, elle a navigué sur les mers d'Europe au gré de plusieurs périples et est arrivée au port de Pont-Aven en 2011, pour la "Fête des vieux gréements". Mais après la fête, elle n'avait pas pu reprendre la mer. (NOT) READY TO GO! AUF DIE PLÄTZE, FERTIG, (NICHT) LOS! Die 22 m lange "Presviata Pokrova" ist eine perfekte Nachbildung einer Mischung aus Drakkar und ukrainischer Kosakengaleere aus dem 16. Jh. Tschaika genannt, hat sie auf mehreren Reisen die Meere Europas bereist und kam 2011 zum "Fest der alten Takelage" im Hafen von Pont-Aven an. Aber nach dem Ereignis konnte sie nicht mehr auf See zurückkehren.

... ce jour, le 19 août pour la Journée Mondiale de la Photographie, mais aussi à l'intérieur de cette vielle tour du 12ème siècle. L'horloge et les cloches témoignent du passé mais sont à jamais arrêtés. Ce sont les seules vestiges de l'ancienne église paroissiale Saint Georges (voir PiP) qui a été démolie en 1963, le clocher est tout ce qui reste. TIME STANDS STILL... this day, August 19 for World Photography Day, but also inside this old 12th century bell tower. The clock and the bells testify to the past but are forever stopped. These are the only vestiges of the old parish church Saint Georges (see PIP) which was demolished in 1963, the bell tower is all what remains. DIE ZEIT STEHT STILL ... am heutigen Tag, 19.August, zum Weltfotografietag, aber auch in diesem alten Glockenturm aus dem 12. Jh. Die Uhr und die Glocken zeugen von der Vergangenheit, stehen aber für immer still. Es sind die einzigen Reste der alten Pfarrkirche Saint Georges (siehe PIP), sie wurde 1963 abgerissen, der Turm ist alles, was übrig geblieben ist..

Les halles sont construites en 1509 et sont parfaitement conservées. Des lettres royales sous Louis XII promulguent l’organisation d’un marché hebdomadaire, ainsi que de deux foires par an : la première, le 9 octobre, marquait le début des vendanges, et la deuxième avait lieu le 30 avril. On y vendait de la toile de chanvre, de la toile de lin, du bétail, et surtout le vin du terroir. Sous la halle, un local servait de pièce de stockage avant d’être converti en prison au lendemain de la Révolution. THE CARPENTER'S ARTWORK. The market hall was built in 1509 and is perfectly preserved. Royal letters announced under Louis XII the organization of a weekly market and two annual markets; the first, on October 9th, marked the start of the grape harvest and the second took place on April 30th. Hemp and linen cloths, cattle and above all, the local wine were sold there. A room under the hall served as a storage room before it was converted into a prison after the revolution. KÜNSTLERISCHES WERK DES ZIMMERMANNS. Die Markthalle wurde 1509 erbaut und ist perfekt erhalten. Unter Louis XII. verkündeten königliche Briefe die Organisation eines Wochenmarktes sowie zweier Jahrmärkte; der erste, am 9. Oktober, markierte den Beginn der Weinlese und die zweite fand am 30. April statt. Dort wurden Hanf- und Leinentücher, Vieh und vor allem der örtliche Wein verkauft. Unter der Halle diente ein Raum als Lagerraum, bevor er nach der Revolution in ein Gefängnis umgewandelt wurde.

Not easy to climb to Mont Dol, the slope is steep, but once you get there, you don't regret the effort: you are rewarded with a wonderful panorama of the surrounding landscapes and the bay of Mont St Michel. On this hill, which rises to 65 m, there is a windmill, a small chapel and a large octagonal granite tower with a tall VIrgin Mary statue. DEPUIS LES HAUTEURS : HFF. Pas facile de monter au Mont Dol, la pente est raide, mais une fois qu'on y est, on ne regrette pas l'effort : on est récompensé par un magnifique panorama sur les paysages environnants et la baie du Mont St Michel. Sur cette colline qui culmine à 65 m se trouvent un moulin à vent, une petite chapelle et une grande tour octogonale en granit avec une haute statue de la Vierge Marie. AUS DER HÖHE : HFF. Der Aufstieg zum Mont Dol ist nicht einfach, der Hang ist steil, aber oben angekommen, bereut man die Anstrengung nicht: man wird belohnt mit einem wunderschönem Panoramablick auf die umliegenden Landschaften und die Bucht von Mont St. Michel. Auf diesem 65 m hohen Hügel befinden sich eine Windmühle, eine kleine Kapelle und ein hoher achteckiger Granitturm mit einer grossen Marienstatue.

We had a very sunny but cold week. Then it's a pleasure to sit in front of the fireplace to warm up in front of the flames. "GRILLE DE FEU". Nous venons d'avoir une belle semaine ensoleillée mais froide. C'est un plaisir de se trouver devant la cheminée pour se chauffer devant les flammes. FEUER"ZAUN" Wir haben eine sehr sonnige, aber kalte Woche hinter uns. Dann ist es ein Vergnügen, vor dem Kamin zu sitzen und sich vor den Flammen zu wärmen.

The river port of Sablé s/Sarthe developed at the beginning of the 19th century thanks to the trade in tufa, sand and local marble. Today, ite lives mainly from tourism (aboard a riverboat you can discover the Sarthe valley). It is opposite the castle which was built in the middle of the 18th century instead of an old medieval fortress, and remodeled in the 19th century. PETIT BANC FACE AU PORT. Le port de Sablé s/Sarthe s'est développé au début du XIXème siècle grâce au commerce du tuffeau, du sable et marbre local. Aujourd'hui, il vit principalement du tourisme (à bord d'un bateau-mouche on peut découvrir la vallée de la Sarthe)/ Il se trouve face au château qui est construit au milieu du XVIIIème siècle en lieu et place d'une ancienne forteresse médiévale, et remanié aux XIXème siècle. KLEINE BANK MIT HAFENBLICK. Der Flusshafen von Sablé s/Sarthe entwickelte sich zu Beginn des 19. Jh. dank des Handels mit Tuff, Sand und lokalem Marmor. Heute lebt er hauptsächlich vom Tourismus (an Bord eines Flussschiffes kann man das Sarthetal entdecken). Es liegt gegenüber des Schlosses, das Mitte des 18. Jh. anstelle einer alten mittelalterlichen Festung erbaut und im 19. Jh. umgebaut wurde.

C'est le pont Mac-Racken construit en 1824 (à l'origine Pont d'Orléans). La dénomination actuelle est un hommage au sergent James Mac-Racken qui, dans la nuit du 5 août 1944, a désamorcé les 15 caisses de dynamite que les Allemands avaient placées sur le pont. Des trois ponts qui existaient à ce moment en ville, c'est le seul qui subsiste après guerre. D'ailleurs, c'est la rivière Mayenne dans la ville de Mayenne dans le département Mayenne... 1st PLACE - WINNER IN CWP DECEMBER 2022 The wrecks of the former fishing boats "L'Angelus" and "L'Etacq" have been stranded in Portbail harbor for decades and are a photographic attraction. In fact, the misery of their sad end of life contrasts with the photogenicity of their colorful and weather-worn planks... CLÔTURE POURRIE. Les épaves des anciens bateaux de pêche "L'Angélus" et "L'Etacq" échouées dans le havre de Portbail depuis des décennies constituent une attraction photographique. En effet, la misère de leur triste fin de vie contraste avec la photogénie de ses planches colorées et usées par les intempéries... MORSCHER ZAUN. Die seit Jahrzehnten im natürlichen Hafen von Portbail gestrandeten Wracks der ehemaligen Fischerboote "L’Angelus" und "L’Etacq" sind eine fotografische Attraktion. Tatsächlich kontrastiert das Elend ihres traurigen Lebensendes mit der Fotogenität ihrer farbigen und vom Wetter verwitterten Planken...
