Sur la rive opposée se trouve l'église Saint-Hilaire. De style néogothique, elle fut construite au XIXe siècle sur l'emplacement de l'ancien château, une forteresse érigée par Guillaume le Conquérant au XIe siècle. En juin 1944 la ville est bombardée et quasiment détruit dans sa totalité. L'église était le symbole de la reconstruction de la ville.

SPRING GREETINGS FROM THE LAKE. On the opposite shore stands the Saint Hilaire church. Built in the 19th century in the Neo-Gothic style, it stands on the site of the former castle, a fortress erected by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. In June 1944, the town was bombed and almost completely destroyed. The church was the symbol of the town's reconstruction.

FRÜHLINGSGRÜSSE VOM SEE. Am gegenüberliegenden Ufer steht die Kirche Saint Hilaire. Sie wurde im 19. Jh. im neugotischen Stil an der Stelle der ehemaligen Burg erbaut, einer Festung, die Wilhelm der Eroberer im 11. Jh. errichten liess. Im Juni 1944 wurde die Stadt bombardiert und fast vollständig zerstört. Die Kirche war das Symbol für den Wiederaufbau der Stadt.
