I thought it was only in this country that odd things like this happened :-))) In Headington near Oxford there is a house with a shark sticking into the roof! I see it every time I go into Oxford when on the Park & Ride bus. I haven't, yet, photographed the shark though :-)

Thanks Roger. A shark in the roof?! That's not bad either. So I did some research on the internet and discovered that "it was protest art, put up without permission, to be symbolic of bombs crashing into buildings". (according to wikipedia).

Ich habe gelesen, dass die Skulptur als Protest gegen Bombardierung und als Zeichen gegen Atomwaffen aufgestellt wurde, wobei der Hai als Metapher für fallende Bomben verwendet wurde.
