Le jour où j'ai arrêté la circulation;-)

Au centre-ville près d'un grand carrefour est située l'église Notre-Dame-de-Villedieu. Etant donné qu'elle m'intéressait beaucoup, notamment son orgue, je voulais absolument faire aussi une photo de l'extérieur, mais des voitures circulaient sans cesse. Du coup j'ai forcé et avancé sur la chaussée... J'ai eu de la chance : les 3, 4 voitures ont attendu que j'ai fini !
La construction de l'édifice débute au XIIe siècle, elle est reconstruite après la guerre de Cent Ans à la fin du XVe siècle. En 1632 elle est détruite par un incendie, seul le chœur est épargné. La reconstruction commence au XVIIe siècle.

THE DAY I STOPPED THE TRAFFIC;-) The church of Notre-Dame-de-Villedieu is located in the town centre near a major crossroads. As I was very interested in it, especially the organ, I really wanted to take also an outside photo, but there were cars driving all the time. So I forced my way onto the pavement... I was lucky: the 3 or 4 cars waited until I'd finished!
The construction of the church began in the 12th century and was rebuilt after the 100-Years' War at the end of the 15th century. In 1632, a fire destroyed the building, sparing only the choir. Reconstruction began in the 17th century.

DER TAG, AN DEM ICH DEN VERKEHR STOPPTE;-) Im Stadtzentrum in der Nähe einer grossen Kreuzung befindet sich die Kirche Notre-Dame-de-Villedieu. Da sie mich sehr interessierte, besonders die Orgel, wollte ich unbedingt auch ein Aussenfoto machen, aber es fuhren ständig Autos vorbei. Deshalb erzwang ich meine Passage auf die Fahrbahn... Ich hatte Glück: die 3, 4 Autos warteten dann, bis ich fertig war !
Der Bau des Gebäudes begann im 12. Jh. und wurde nach dem 100-jährigen Krieg Ende des 15. Jh. wieder aufgebaut. Im Jahr 1632 wurde sich durch ein Feuer zerstört, nur der Chor bleibt verschont. Der Wiederaufbau beginnt im 17. Jh.
