A LIGHTHOUSE INTEGRATED INTO ITS NATURAL SETTING. The lighthouse of Ploumanac'h, whose official name is "Mean Ruz", is a 15 m high building built in pink granite. It indicates the entrance to the channel leading to the town's harbour. The first lighthouse dates from 1860; destroyed by German troops in 1944, it was replaced in 1946 by the present lighthouse. At night, it can be seen thanks to its red light with a visible white sector.
