The flowers look wonderful Christa. They grow along my wall in the front garden. I have to pull some out or they would get everywhere ;-) Not only lovely flowers but a beautiful scene as well.

Thanks Peter. This town is special with "4 Flowers" earned in the contest of "Competition of cities and villages in Bloom" which is organised annually in France.

The aim is to encourage communes to adopt and implement policies that improve the quality of life of their inhabitants and enhance their attractiveness to visitors through the provision and maintenance of green spaces and the enhancement of their natural environments. Successful communes are awarded the right to display a badge (showing from one to four flowers) on road signs and in other local promotional material.

Granzie Silvy. La città fa molti sforzi per abbellirla, ha anche l'etichetta "4 fiori" (assegnata in Francia alle città particolarmente fiorite).

Schöner, als ich es mir vorstellen kann. Blumen und Stein passen einfach gut zusammen.
