Loved the palm tree and the sculpture too, and what fun to see where the person was looking out, there with his feeties up on the other chair!

Thanks Peter. The "red fruits" are oleander blossoms and they are all real. Since it was mid-August, the main flowering period was almost over and only a few flowers were still present. Keep well and a nice Sunday.

Der Farbton der Stühle erinnert mich an ein spezielles Militär-Grün.

Daran hätte ich jetzt nicht gedacht, aber stimmt, da hast du recht, dieses olivgrün lässt einen ans Militär denken...

Nun, ich war das letzte mal 1986 zum Reservistendienst eingezogen worden. Aber diesen speziellen Farbton vergisst man nicht. Hier die nicht-glänzende Variante:

Von "russengrün" habe ich noch nie was gehört, wieder mal was dazu gelernt. Bei uns würde man sagen "olivgrün", oder vielleicht "khaki" - obwohl das ja mehr zu braun hingeht...

Einfach nur ein schönes Bild, Christa ! Und in der Phantasie kann man dort sitzen, schauen und vielleicht ein Glas Wein trinken. Wie du den Blick lenkst und und die Stimmung eingefangen hast, gefällt mir sehr ! Eine schöne Woche wünsch ich dir !

Vielen Dank Ulrich. Ein Glas Wein kann man anschliessend in einem der zahlreichen Bistrots trinken, z.B. am Boulevard St Michel... Ab Donnerstag 19.11. z.B. einen Beaujolais Nouveau, wie wär's damit? Also, à ta santé und Prost.
