The Guards - HFF!

The Guards - HFF!
A Somerset view between the trees. They look as if they are guarding the gateway. In the distance stands Glastonbury Tor. If the trees could talk they would tell tales of the changing seasons and the people who have stood here to admire the view.
I have therefore added 'The Memory of Trees' by Enya.

Many thanks George. Really appreciated. I am pleased you enjoyed the Enya track. Glastonbury, and particular the Tor is steeped in history and mysticism, and believed by some to be the site of King Arthur's Avalon. Enya's music evokes that mystical feeling for me. Have a lovely weekend

Thank you very much Rosa. Really appreciated. No we didn't climb the tor. We went to Avalon marshes, - not planned, we just drifted there really. Didn't plan the footwear either and it was very soggy underfoot, - not sure my shoes will ever recover from the peaty water!! Ran out of battery too and didn't have a spare so we plan to go back again when we are better prepared!! I hope you have a lovely sunny weekend

I am pleased to say we have sunshine again today, although it is a little cooler, - probably due to the huge thunderstorm early last evening when the skies lit up with eerie light and the lightning was quite impressive.
