Division of Faith (PiP)
Glenaray and Inveraray Parish Church, Inveraray, (Church of Scotland), Argyll. (see PiP). Designed by Robert Mylne in 1792 and built between 1795 and 1802, it housed two congregations, - English (Lowland) and Gaelic (Highland), with a solid wall dividing the two halves

Many thanks Pam. Really appreciated. The building stands proudly on an island at the highest point and looks quite imposing even from the bottom of the street. It is a bit of a shame about the modern lock on this lovely old door though. Have a lovely evening

Wonderful doors somehow the little brass Yale lock looks so out of place, I notice the door handles are of differing levels to differentiate between Highland and Lowland sides I assume,
