Hochsommer - Midsummer
Bei herrlichem Sommerwetter waren auf einer Wiese mit einer Zuchtform vom Wasserdost (Eupatorium) recht viele Hauhechel-Bläulinge (Polyommatus icarus) unterwegs. Eine richtige Augenweide. Diese Bläulingsart sieht dem Silbergrünen Bläuling (Lysandra coridon), den ich in den vorherigen Bildern zeigte, sehr ähnlich. Wer sieht den Unterschied?

In beautiful summer weather, there were quite a few Common Blue butterflies (Polyommatus icarus) fluttering about on a meadow with a cultivated variety of Eupatorium - truly a feast for the eyes. This species of blue butterfly looks very similar to the Chalkhill Blue (Lysandra coridon), which I showed in the previous photos. Can you spot the difference?
