Im Bildhintergrund etwas links ist gerade eine Wandergruppe dabei den Gletscher Falljökull (Teil des Vatnajökull National Parks) zu besteigen. In den gigantischen Eismassen fällt sie kaum auf. Der Gletscher ist keine ebene Fläche, sondern ist geformt wie eine hochalpine Welt. Wegen der Gefahren sollte man Gletscher nie ohne Führung und entsprechende Ausrüstung betreten.

In the background on the left there is a group of hikers climbing the glacier Falljökull. It is hardly noticeable in the gigantic ice masses. The glacier is not a flat surface, but is shaped like a high alpine world. Because of the dangers, one should never enter the glacier without a guide and appropriate equipment.
