Die Königin der Orchideen - The queen of orchids -mit PiP

Die Aufnahme entstand in einem lichten Buchenwald bei Retzstadt/Franken. Der Gelbe Frauenschuh (Cypripedium calceolus) ist eine der prächtigsten wildwachsenden Orchideenarten Europas und steht in allen EU-Ländern unter strengem Schutz. Es handelt sich bei dieser Art um eine sogenannte Kesselfallenblume. Angelockt werden potenzielle Bestäuber sowohl von der Farbgebung des "Pantoffels" als auch vom aprikosenähnlichen Duft der Pflanze. Insekten, besonders Sandbienen und weitere kleine und kräftige Insektenarten dringen in den Pantoffel ("Kessel") ein und bestäuben beim Ausstieg aus dem Kessel zwangsläufig die Blüte. The Yellow Lady's Slipper orchid (Cypripedium calceolus) is one of the most magnificent wild orchid species in Europe and is protected in all EU countries. This species has so-called trap blossoms. Potential pollinators are attracted both by the colour of the "slipper" and by the apricot-like scent of the plant. Insects, especially sand bees and other small and powerful insects, penetrate into the slipper and inevitably pollinate the flower when leaving the slipper. More information here:
