Die Hangneigung im Würzburger Stein, der größten zusammenhängenden Weinbergslage Deutschlands, beträgt zwischen 30 und 80 %. Die Fläche kann an den steilsten Stellen nur mit der Hand oder Spezialmaschinen bewirtschaftet werden.
Der Würzburger Stein gehört zu ungefähr einem Drittel den Traditionsweingütern Juliusspital, Bürgerspital und Staatlicher Hofkeller, kleinere Parzellen dem privaten Weingut am Stein.
The slope angle in the Würzburger Stein, the largest contiguous vineyard in Germany, is between 30 and 80%. The area can be managed at the steepest points only by hand or special machines.
The Würzburger Stein is owned approximately one third by the tradition wineries Juliusspital, Bürgerspital and Staatlicher Hofkeller, smaller parcels are owned by the private winery Weingut am Stein.
