Der Chinagarten bei der Blatterwiese am Ufer des Zürichsees, einer der wichtigsten Tempelgärten ausserhalb Chinas.
Wie in der chinesischen Kultur üblich hat im Chinagarten jedes Element seine besondere Bedeutung.
Eines Hauptthemes der chinesischen Kultur wurde hier ins Zentrum gerückt: 'drei Freunde im Winter', die Föhre, Bambus und Winterkirsche gemeint ...
Die 1994 eröffnete Anlage ist ein Geschenk der Partnerstadt Kunming an die Stadt Zürich als Dank für die Unterstützung beim Ausbau der Trinkwasserversorgung und der Stadtentwässerung.
