Ötztal Alps (8000 x 3000 px resolution)

The Similaun can be reached from the Martin Busch Hut via the hiking trail through the valley to the right. After a good 2 hours (4.6 km, 571 m difference in altitude) you reach the Similaun Hut (3,019 m, very tiny in the high-resolution version). This hut is the starting point for the Similaun ascent as well as for a visit to the Ötzi finding site.

Zum Similaun gelangt man von der Martin-Busch-Hütte über den Wanderweg rechts durchs Tal. Nach gut 2 Stunden (4,6 km, 571 Höhenmeter) erreicht man die Similaun-Hütte (3.019 m, in der hoch aufgelösten Version ganz klein erkennbar). Diese Hütte ist Ausgangspunkt für die Similaun-Besteigung ebenso wie für einen Besuch der Ötzi-Fundstelle.
