Le Carrelet Fishermen's huts perched high on stilts on the coast, accessible from the beach on a long walkway with a fence or railings.
Unfortunately, these fishing huts are less and less used for what they were originally intended for, and are now popular mini-oases for city dwellers who have bought and renovated them to spend their free time in, bird watching, reading in peace and quiet, enjoying the sun and laisse fair.
wish everyone a peaceful, enjoyable Good Friday take care of yourselves and stay healthy

Now we visit the largest temple cave, Huyen Khong, a former Cham sanctuary, which served as a refuge for the Vietcong during the war, is the height of a cathedral and is now an important Buddhist pilgrimage site.
During the Vietnam War, the border between the communist north and the south occupied by American troops was near the Marble Mountains.
A legend tells the following:
GIs bathed and sunbathed on the beach, while the Vietcong maintained a secret military hospital in the Huyen Khong caves in the mountains. From here, the Vietcong also shot down some enemy planes.

Now it goes down from the highest point of the Marble Mountains, at first still a little steep and bumpy, but then the paths become wider again and pleasant to walk on.

Nutmeg is the seed of the nutmeg tree.
Nutmeg trees grow up to 15 metres high and originate from the Moluccas, an Indonesian archipelago.
Nutmeg trees can grow to be about 100 years old.
Nutmegs are mainly used as a spice,
for cooking, but nutmeg can do a lot more,
Nutmeg is also used in natural medicine. The effect of nutmeg has been somewhat forgotten in modern society. In Asian countries, people use the nut to strengthen the nerves and it promotes digestion.

On a very steep stairway that is already a bit worn and no longer seems to have much grip, you reach the highest point of the Marble Mountains.
Here you are rewarded with a magnificent view of the surroundings, the landscape and the houses at the foot of the mountains.

Continuing through the Marble Mountains, we move underground :-) to a place that contains the truths of the universe, The cave is like a small valley. The ceiling of the cave opens to the sky, resulting in a pleasant temperature inside the cave. there is a shrine inside to worship the gods who bring happiness and joy to mankind.
The locals worship the various statues around the shrine and offer them gifts.

Xa Loi Tower
The hexagonal tower is 28 metres high and has 7 floors . The tower is a tribute to the core values of Buddhism. The 7 floors are said to show the seven types of human emotions, such as happiness, anger, love, resentment, greed, hatred and delusion. The 6 sides of the tower represent the 6 senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch and perception. There are more than 200 Buddha statues inside and outside the tower.

Once you have climbed the stairs, you have a great view of the Linh Ung Pagoda.
The pagoda has a long history dating back to the time of the Gia Long kings in the 17th century. The pagoda is a shrine with Buddha statues and shrines with golden tablets recording the demands of the kings.
Locals show their gratitude before the Buddha statues by kneeling, bowing and meditating. The Linh Ung Pagoda has a special ambience that conveys a symbiosis between religion, history, nature and people.
Outside the pagoda is a significant Buddha statue in a botanical garden.

Come along on a trip to the Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains a group of five limestone peaks near Hoi An and Danang. The karst mountains ( Ngu Hanh Son ) are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuỷ (water), Mộc (wood), Hoả (fire) and Thổ (earth). For centuries, the Marble Mountains have had a special significance for the people here. The Cham revered the mountains as spiritual sites, around which many legends entwine.
More than a few steps have to be climbed to get up to the Marble Mountains. The steps are carved out of solid stone and each one brings us closer to our destination and the magnificent view of the surrounding City.

HFF with the Lions Gate Bridge and its railings.
Opened in 1938, the bridge, officially known as the First Narrows Bridge, is a suspension bridge that crosses the narrows of Burrard Inlet and connects the neighbourhoods of North Vancouver and West Vancouver.
The total length of the bridge is 1,823 metres, the main span is 473 metres, the tower height is 111 metres, which fully justifies the railings :-) , the ship clearance 61 metres.
Since March 2005, the Lions Gate Bridge has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada.
wish you all a bridge-busting, virus-free weekend, be careful and stay healthy.

Street market and street vendors
The various markets in Hoi An offer an incredible shopping experience and you can test your bargaining skills ,you may get a bargain.
The selection of food , spices , fruits and vegetables , small animals and fish is enormous.
PiP:
The market is busy all day long, which apparently also leads to a certain tiredness ;-)
